These beans were given to me by a social worker that worked for a Cape Town NGO who had spent some time down in Bizana (E. Cape). These are great little bush beans that are very productive. We pick them over twice for green beans (pick them young or they might get stringy) and then leave the last flush to dry out on the plant for dry beans. If you have planted your crop too late then just lift the whole plant before the first frost and hang up in a shed to dry out naturally.
