Capsicum chinense

This special 7 Pot is out to impress in that it produces GIGANTIC fruits with lovely thick walls. What it lacks in terms of productiveness (but then very few of the superhots are prolific), it makes up for in searing heat! While on the lower end of the extreme scale, these babies are still superbly hot.

Estimated at 1 000 000+ SHU, it's not for the faint-hearted.

So - I love chili peppers and I live in Congo. I thought these would be a no brainer. Unfortunately I couldn't get one to grow successfully :D It's probably down to a lack of skill on my part. I bought a selection of peppers at the same time and I found these to be particularly sensitive and fiddly. Thankfully I still had plenty of other fab peppers - definitely check out the Sakay Lani Lally - beautiful!

First of all this most definitely a 7 pot. It is very hot.. and it is big. About 2-3 times the size of a normal 7 pot. I had pods 7-8 cm long and 4-5 cm across. Definitely a grow again!
