Capsicum baccatum

An easy-to-grow and high-yielding heirloom from the Andes Mountains in Bolivia, this hot pepper plant is more tolerant of cooler weather.

The thin-skinned pods ripen from green to a golden orange, with a delicious citrus flavour lending itself well to salads, salsas, and stir-fries, as well as paired with fish. It also makes a flavorful, brightly coloured chilli powder when dried and ground up.
