Brassica oleracea

The large white heads are easily guarded from pests by it's large wrapper leaves, this is an awesome variety for freezing or for use straight from the garden. Eaten fresh, the heads have a mild, sweet flavour, which are deliciously crisp.

This variety is great for succession planting and the heads hold well.

Best eaten raw in salads, steamed or boiled, and served with a delicious creamy cheese sauce.
