Capsicum annuum
A chilli that has been grown for more than 3 centuries in Oaxaca, Mexico.
The plants are low growing and bushy. Fruits are cone shaped and grow pointing upwards. The fruits are mostly harvested when still young (green) as the heat and spiciness increases as they mature.
The chillies are delicious and can be stuffed with cheese and shredded meat, or sauteed with onions, dried and ground to a powder or used fresh to make a delicious sauce.
