Lactuca sativa

This very fast growing lettuce is also known as Taiwan sword leaf lettuce , Pointed leaf lettuce and  Oriental Lettuce. The thin, long, bright green slightly serrated leaves grow from the central stem and form pointy tipped leaves.

Can be harvested as a crown when young or allow them to grow out slightly and harvest as a loose leaf lettuce.

The leaves are tender , tasty and have a very distinct taste, which is refreshing.
