Lactuca sativa

A red butterhead type of lettuce. AKA Red ridinghood Lettuce. This beauty is either all red, or partially red with some green in it. The heads of this variety are large and look very similar to the Wonder of 4 Seasons lettuce.  The leaves are crisp and have an awesome taste and texture to them.  The heads are heat resistant making them slower to bolt.
