Phaseolus vulgaris
This variety was bred by the late Prof. Elwyn Meader.
The tasty, string-less, slightly curved and round, deep purple pods are ready to harvest in 50 -60 days to be added into your salads, stir-fry's or stews. The pods do lose their colour when cooked.
The plant grows in a bush form that is strong and upright with a few short runners. The plants are resistant to Bean Common Mosaic Virus.
