A Medium heat chilli with delicious sweet and fruity flavours when fresh, some say that they can detect a hint of mango in its fruitiness. Drying the pods seems to change the flavour somewhat, adding a slight smokiness. The pods ripen from light green to a warm orange. A good all rounder in the kitchen, especially in sauces, jams and as a chilli powder.
This bushy plant can grow up to 1.5m tall and requires support to help carry the prolific production of fruit.
