Outstanding sorghum variety used for the production of syrup. Produces a beautiful clear amber syrup from the stem in large quantities, this can be boiled down and utilized as a sugar / syrup substitute in many different ways. Developed in Lowa USA in the early 1900's this is truly an outstanding sorghum variety. Maturing seed needs to be covered to ensure a harvest otherwise birds will decimate your crop.
Tall plants grow 2.5 - 3m tall.
