Solanum lycopersicum
A very rare Polish tomato gifted to us by Astrid & Matthew, owners of a US seed company with a very similar name as ours (The Living Seed Company). Originally arrived in the US in 1922 through a gentleman named Andy (hence the name). This variety was for many years not available for sale, but only swapped via word of mouth among a close network of gardening friends.
With a deliciously sweet and meaty flesh, these tomatoes are right at the top of our office staff's favourite tomato list. The fruits have very little seed, making them a great option for sandwiches and salads, and difficult to produce seed in any sizable amount.
Ready for harvest in 90 days after transplant.
