Beta vulgaris

This variety was bred to produce superior quality baby leaves for picking year round. Both cold and heat tolerant. The thick white ribs support glossy dark green leaves with slightly curled edges.  These tender yet crisp leaves are at their best raw or lightly steamed. 

The leaves are best harvested when still small 25-40cm or around 55 days.
