Capsicum chinense

The uniqueness of this chilli is the "bleeding" of red colouring into the calyx and up the stalk in the last few days of ripening. Packing the heat of a scorpion, with a fruity, florally undertone. Some say there is a lingering bubblegum flavour in the first few bites before the heat kicks in.

This is a semi-stable third generation cross between a Scorpion and a Yellow 7 Pot.

Right up there with the superhots at 1 000 000+ SHU.
