While many class the Black Prince as an ornamental chilli, they are certainly edible with a sweet fruity, citrus undertone and medium heat once ripe.

This chilli is a beautiful addition to the garden with its varied coloured leaves ranging from green through to purple and black, encasing a tiny purple flower that becomes a purple-black, elongated and pointed berry that turns a bright crimson when ripe.

A small compact bush that gets to around 45cm in height and girth.
