This unique medium-sized beefsteak really sets the stage. It's a real looker with deep blue-purple shoulders that lighten as it ripens, leaving a subtle purple hue. Nothing can quite describe the astonishment of people when they first see and then taste this tomato. Thanks to its deep blue hue, this slicer is antioxidant-heavy and carries its flavour exceptionally well.

During our grow-outs, this variety had great late blight resistance.

I should add that this picture doesn't do these beauties justice. The top half of the tomato gets a beautiful dark purple cap. Busy planting them for the 3rd year in a row. They even produced Tomatoes through winter for me this year (Gauteng), and reseeded themselves, so I have early Tomatoes this Spring,

One of the most amazing tomatoes that I have ever grown. It is hardy, grows and matures quickly, and the result is beautiful. Not only is the tomato pretty, but when cut open has a beautiful meaty flesh that is sweet and non-acidic. This is currently my go-to tomato. I love the purple capping. A nice large tomato too.
