Believed to be of Mayan decent, these beans were first cultivated by the Hohokam Indians were a staple food for many generations.
These beautiful blueish-grey seeds were selected to be more drought and heat tolerant. They add a delicious nutty flavour and meaty texture to soups, stews and traditional Mexican dishes like tacos and burritos.
A semi-bush variety that grows to a height of +-100cm. They require well drained soil and do not enjoy being over watered.
