Lactuca sativa
Developed at Cornell University in the early 1960s, this variety has since become an extremely popular butterhead type. Produces small compact heads of green leaves that lighten towards the centre, complemented by a soft, crisp taste. It is great to use as a base for salads and a garnish for other dishes. Favoured by gardeners and chefs alike.
Medium heat/bolt resistance.
Ready for harvest at 70+ days.
