Pisum sativum

A snap pea variety which was originally developed by the Oregon State University. This variety produces thick, crunchy, juicy and sweet dark green pods containing around 8 slightly wrinkled peas per pod. They make deliciously healthy snacks straight off the vines, can be cooked, canned or frozen for later use. The plants are more bushy than other pea varieties and grow to approx 70cm tall.

Pods can be harvested around 75 days after planting.

Standard packet contains approx. 25 seeds

Petite packet contains approx. 10 seeds

Using Peaflo-Rhizobium bacteria when planting your pea seed is the most cost effective way of putting nitrogen fixing bacteria into your soil, creating healthier soil for a more productive harvest.
