Daucus carota
A popular variety that was introduced in 1929 by C.C. Morse & Company.
These thick orange carrots are quite stubby in appearance having broad shoulders and a thick root that tapers to a blunt end. A deliciously sweet carrot, with a deeper orange-red core giving this variety its name.
This sweet and crisp carrot is great raw in salads, and fantastic for dicing and preserving with its thicker roots.
An easy grower that is ready to harvest in 70 days.
Standard packet contains approx 400 seeds
