Anthriscus cerefolium
Not a common herb in South Africa. However, on the European continent a summer meal would not be complete without a handful of chervil to throw into a meal. It has a subtle parsley/aniseed flavour and once you have tasted it you will be hooked. Can take a bit of frost but a deep heavy frost will see you planting again next year.
