An absolute favourite! This 18th-century heirloom is a Romaine-type lettuce that produces an upright, loose head of bronze-flecked leaves around a creamy, sweet heart. The soft, silky leaves and crunchy stems are perfect for adding colourful twists to wraps and salads.
It performs exceptionally well in spring and autumn, and is especially popular as a baby leaf variety.
Low heat/bolt resistance.
Ready for harvest at around 50+ days (mature) or 35 days (baby leaves).
