This pumpkin is also known as Rouge vifd’Etampes, which originated from France. It has a deep orange coloured skin with a rich orange flesh which is perfect for baked goodies. The Cinderella pumpkin is a very decorative pumpkin and as its name states it resembles the fairytale pumpkin. It has a vibrant red-orange, hard skin, with a fairly flattened shape and deep distinguishing lobes. The Cinderella pumpkin has lots of nutritional value; it is high in dietary fiber, Vitamins A & C, potassium & iron.

Grilling/ roasting this deliciously sweet pumpkin will enhance the sweetness. The cooked pumpkin can even be pureed and made into pumpkin ice-cream
