Coleonema pulchellum

A 1.5-2m evergreen woody shrub which is found in the wild in the Western and Eastern Cape. If sown in Autumn they will flower through Winter until late spring.

The beautiful star shaped flowers look like confetti has been sprinkled over the bush.

The feathery needle-like leaves are very aromatic that are used to repel mosquitoes and ants.

This variety is best suited for a winter rainfall area as heat and excessive summer rainfall will develop Phytophthora (root fungal disease) which can be fatal.

The plants will also not do well with frost and extreme cold winters.

Best grown in well drained and compost rich soil, in full sun.

Standard packet contains approx. 15 seeds

No petite option for this variety
