Phaseolus vulgaris
An heirloom bush bean from the North American community of Hutterites. This variety is a sought after bean for making a hearty, creamy white soup. The beans range in colour from a stunning cream to a soft yellow. They have a tasty, mild buttery flavor when cooked.
Best used as dry beans, however they can also be used as fresh green beans too.
