Capsicum chinense

Developed by Pennsylvanian pepper farmer Jay Weaver, this chilli variety is a cross between Red Bhut Jolokia and Trinidad Scorpion.

Pod shape may vary, with some sporting Scorpion tails. The red skin is thin and bumpy, typical of Bhuts. The pods ripen from green to bright red with a fruity flavour and extreme heat level.
