Celosia argentea var. cristata (Formally Celosia Cristata)

A rare, beautiful, wrinkly flower that has a velvety look and feel to it. Commonly known as Cockscomb or Quail grass. This is an edible member of the Amaranth family. Has an excellent resistance to various diseases and is also drought and heat tolerant. Cockscomb is a stunning variety that can be dried to use in a bouquet or as an ornamental plant grown indoors.

Is relatively easy to grow and can be grown both indoors and outdoors. What makes this variety such a good-to-have is that the stem and flowers are all edible.
