Clitoria ternatea

This is the double flowered version of the traditional Butterfly Pea. This stunning edible flower produces beautiful, double bloomed, blue flowers, that are used to make a calming tea, used to dye food or desserts naturally. Using an acidic ingredient changes the colour of the tea in a beautiful and dramatic manner. The tea can be used to decorate cocktails and punches.
