Tasting Notes:

Medium strength garlic with a gentle quick fading flavour.

Hints of Lovage herb in the background and maybe a slight garlic bitterness that is pleasant.

Some people experience a "sting" on the tongue which is not uncomfortable.

An stunning marbled purple stripe garlic variety, Gaya's Joy originated from Poland and came to the world via the Plant Introduction Station at the Washington University.

This gives it a wonderful broad appeal and does not contribute as pungent sulfurous taste to a dish as one of the more pungent purple or pink varieties.
This is a short compact plant, that has above average sized cloves.

Typically a late harvested garlic, with approximate 4-6 well sized cloves per head.

 

If you live in a winter rainfall area, we strongly recommend that you use Biogrow Copper Soap on your garlic plants. Spray preventatively for rust every 2-3 weeks with a mixture of 50% of the minimum dose and water.
