What a wonderful bean to add to your collection! This highly productive bean makes the most wonderful Shelly bean and dry bean. With a simple addition of a little olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper, these make the best Shelly beans ever!

The flavour is rich and intense with a buttery, dense texture that compliments most bean dishes. This variety has been popular since the 1930s and hails from the Wise county, Virginia.
