WATCH Our Garlic Growing Series: How to Grow Great Garlic
NOTE: 2025 Garlic will be shipped from the 20th of January on a FIFO basis.This is a beautiful Siberian heirloom that was originally collected in the city of Khabarovsk.... hence the name.
This garlic is not the usual intense garlic flavour and really lends itself well to complimenting dishes without overpowering them. We really enjoy this garlic on it's own fried in butter and eaten off a toothpick with a nice bottle of red wine. You will be amazed at the flavour in both the wine and the garlic.
Another way that this garlic really shines is a simple salad dressing with crushed raw Khabar, olive oil and a spring of rosemary and basil.
If you live in a winter rainfall area, we strongly recommend that you use Biogrow Copper Soap on your garlic plants. Spray preventatively for rust every 2-3 weeks with a mixture of 50% of the minimum dose and water.
