Livingseeds first supplied Pink Fir ten years ago in 2014. Sadly, our grower stopped supplying these as the commercial demand was so low. This shows the importance of people growing and consuming heirloom varieties; if the demand is there, commercial growers will make an effort to grow and stock heirloom varieties.

Our one contract grower took this to heart and has been working on this supply for the last 10 years.  Originally potatoes were never white and pale cream, they had exciting colours and flavours. Pink Fir Fingerlings are one of these ancient varieties that will bring back the taste of history.

These are a real treat to offer to you guys. Originally developed in France or Austria, depending on who you chat to, in the early 1800s. This is a superb heirloom variety that is a winner hands down. Very popular in the UK, Pink Fir has a lovely pink blush on the skin and superb yellow flesh. Probably one of the best roasting potatoes that one can get.

A later maturing variety at 120-140 days, but so worth the wait.

We have very limited stock of these unique potatoes and they are only being offered in limited lots of 5 seed potatoes.

To ensure that we spread this variety as far and wide as possible, it is also being limited to a single packet per customer.
