The fruit is said to resemble the shape of an apple, with a slightly wrinkled skin. The low level heat, with a pleasant spicy, slightly fruity flavour and larger cavity makes this pepper excellent as a stuffer. For a mild chilli pepper spice, dry the peppers and grind to a powder.

Pleasant flavour with a heat profile similar to Jalapenos. Become sweeter as they ripen from green to red.
