Capsicum baccatum

Straight out of the Brazilian Rain Forest, this chilli is superb. It is a super fast grower and can get up to 1.8m tall, so some support will be beneficial.

The plants produce loads of small, blocky, slightly pear shaped fruit. They start of green and ripen to an orange red and have a mild, slightly sweet flavour and a great mouth crunch when raw.
