This one stood up to our hot dry Klein Karoo summer but potatoes were mostly very small. Weight wise the yield was double what we planted. I'll replant a few and see if we have better luck later in the season but if not, I'll be sticking to higher yielding larger potato growing varieties.

I found Bikini to be "okay". It was one of 9 varieties I grew this year and it wasn't a stand out variety in any cooking method, flavour or yeild. It was firm so it held up well in stews.

Healthy great cropping variety with medium to large potatoes. Disease resistant. Benifitted from a healthy application of kraal manure a week before planting. Fast growing.

Good cropping with minimum maintenance. Mostly medium to large potatoes in my case.
Really nice tasting when boiled or roasted, but don't get these if you like chips. They break up when fried.
