A superb new variety that has great production as an early main crop variety. Vanilla is a smooth, bright skinned, oval potato that has a rich yellow flesh. This potato has great texture with a wonderful flavour. No, it does not taste like vanilla flavoured potatoes, the name comes from the bright yellow skin that looks like it could have been dipped in vanilla essence.

This variety has good uniformity with minimal variations in both tuber size and shape if properly grown. Vanilla has very good disease resistance to bruising during harvest, black leg and potato Y virus. Making is particularly appealing to anyone that need to grow in a high humidity, wet environment.

Vanilla is an early main crop that will have a good set in 90-100 days with great storage potential.
