Pisium sativum

First Early May Peas are one of the faster growing trellising pea varieties. Well filled pods with with a truly early set for great rewards in the garden. Plants must be staked to get the most out of the variety. Your best harvests with this variety will be with autumn and mid winter (July) planting. Due to it's early set, this variety will have you in peas before any of the more popular varieties. Heavy bearing we think First Early May will probably become a staple in South Africa.
