Capsicum chinense

This is an original Livingseeds release. We were gifted the seed in 2013 by a Malagasy immigrant. This fabulous chillie is the Malagasy version of a Habanero. If you think a Haba has fruity flavour, stand back. This guy will blow your socks off in the flavour department.

The production is exceptional, really exceptional, the vibrant red pods are sight to behold and if you are a sauce maker… this is the variety for you.

I love these little chaps! Stocky, bushy chilli which has been surviving and producing nicely in our hot climate. I do have to give lots of water but otherwise it is coping well. Love the fruity taste of these chillis. Will definitely be planting more!

This is a fabulous pepper! I read that the flavour was fruity but it didn't prepare me for how good it really does taste. One of the few peppers i've had where it seems that the flavour and hot-ness are equal. I really think if you could get enough of the little fruits you'd have the makings of a millionaire building hotsauce. Yes, easy to grow - not too fussy, with plenty of fruits per plant. Interestingly my plants are very short - only about 50cm high and about the same across. I have some more germinating as we speak so I'll see if it's just these two plants or if that's how big they're supposed to be. One of the (very insignificant) downsides to this variety is that I couldn't find much information about the plant around. Despite that I really recommend it!

A very juicy fruity habanero. Easy to grow and a prolific bearer. Heat very respectable, maybe little bit lower than orange habanero. On my plant again list!
