Capsicum chinense

Originally from Brazil, this beautiful cherry shaped chilli can easily be confused to be a sweet cherry until you have that first bite and the heat becomes evident. Not searingly hot, but does deserve a  little respect.

The pretty bush deserves a place in any garden, providing abundant small, pretty, cherry-shaped fruit.
