Phaseolus acutifolius

This bean is native to Mexico. The vigorous plants produce beautiful pink flowers and then green pods that contain around 5 small beans that dry to black.

The dry beans are then used in dishes that have a deliciously rich flavour and creamy texture.

The plants adapt well to drought.

Harvesting in 80 days will result in fresh green beans.
