Dimorphotheca sinuata
A true South African variety, originating from the Cape's west coast. Attractive yellow and orange clusters of daisy-like flowers that attract bees and butterflies to your garden.
The plants have an upright growth habit and make the most impressive display when planted in clusters. The flowers are sun facing and are usually closed at night and on cloudy days. The plant prefers well drained, sandy soil. Established plants are drought tolerant. De-heading dying flowers will encourage flower production.
Easily self-seeds with the wind, so if you are wanting to save seeds you will need to collect them before the wind distributes them. Perfect for growing in containers, flower beds, rockeries, borders, in fact just about anywhere you would like to have an eye-catching display in spring and summer.
NOT Edible.
