Capsicum annuum

A fast growing, prolific producer of 4cm long, red hot chillis. The fruits ripen from green to black to a bright deep and radiant red. Once ripe they pack a fair punch of heat. The beautiful compact plants make a lovely border or accent plant especially as the fruit is going through the ripening process.

The fruits add great flavour to stir-fries, stews and curries, also tasty fresh, or dried and ground to make a flavourful chilli powder.
