This bean varierty is from the native cliff-dwelling Americans. The dry beans are a beautiful cream and burgundy colour which change to a pale pink when cooked.The beans have a slight sweet taste and a creamy texture. A great bean to use for baked beans.

The plant is a semi-bush bean variety which will benefit from some support.
