Introduced in 1952, this is a firm favourite for many gardeners. Produces firm, upright, tall heads that make for great-tasting crispy salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and even soups.
Tipburn-tolerant and medium heat/bolt-resistant.
Ready for harvest at 50+ days. Baby leaves can be harvested at around 3 weeks.
