Arachis hypogaea

A very large dark brown peanut from our neighbours in Mozambique.
With a superb bold flavour and good yields of large double peanuts. This is an excellent roasting peanut for people that enjoy a good sized snacking peanut.

Mulato requires a slightly longer growing season than most other varieties and will produce consistently year after year.

Lift the plant and hang to dry when they are 50% dry, watch the plant and as soon as they start to tun yellow keep a close eye so that they don't shed their pods on lifting.
