Capsicum chinense
It is said to have originated from the ancient Mayan's and discovered in a small village in the jungles surrounding Peten Lake in Guatemala. It is also know as a Habanero Peternero. The fruits have a good heat, building to around a habanero level with a lingering citrus aftertaste.
