Our coco coir is washed but not buffered and this process is a simple overnight process that you will need to be completed by yourselves.
South Africa has a shortage of buffered coir, and most if not all of the coco coir products sold locally are not buffered, buffering is essential as unbuffered coir will strip nutrients out of your soil impacting your seed and seedlings ability to absorb nutrients.

To expand the coir will require 7 liters of water.

The expansion ratio is approximately 10:1
