Indian Khas Khas or Khus Khus (Not to be confused with couscous) is a popular traditional medicine often used for fertility, digestion and insomnia amongst a host of other benefits. Indian Khus Khus is beautiful pure white flowered variety that grows to over 1,5m tall. The occasional plant produces a very pale pink tinge to the petals that is so finely translucent it's a sight to behold.The robust plants are always best planted as a show piece so that the masses of flowers can be appreciated.

In general, poppies are really easy to grow and are best planted in early to mid winter, once the soil starts to cool.

Poppies do not like to be transplanted so direct sowing is advisable. Cold tolerant and really easy to grow.
