We have been growing Tassie Farmer on Livingseeds Farm for a few years now and every year the show it puts on is simply exceptional.
Tassie Farmer is one of the tallest varieties that we have grown and will do exceptionally well in the back of a garden bed with lower growing flowers in front of it. The flowers of Tassie Farmer are particularly stunning, gorgeous shades of fuchsia really set up a show that if densely planted will give you weeks of stunning blooms.
Tassie Farmer excels as both a medicinal and food variety that will give you years and years of pleasure.

In general, poppies are really easy to grow and are best planted in early to mid winter, once the soil starts to cool.

Poppies do not like to be transplanted so direct sowing is advisable. Cold tolerant and really easy to grow.
