Brassica oleracea capitata
Here's a cabbage that will make a statement in the garden, or on the plate. Red Acre produces large heads with a beautiful deep purple/red colour. This variety is well suited for small gardens, as they don't grow as big as other varieties. You can harvest young for those tiny red “gourmet” cabbages that you pay a fortune for, or allow them to mature before picking. The colourful, tempting heads are enjoyed either cooked in stir fries or raw in salads and coleslaw.
Heat tolerant, does very well in hot summer temperatures. Ready to harvest in 70 days after transplant.
Standard packet contains approx. 200 seeds
Petite packet contains approx. 70 seeds
