Lactuca sativa
A stunning French heirloom that has stood the test of time. Reine des Glaces translates to "Ice Queen," which is apt as it tolerates the cold exceptionally well. A smaller, Iceberg-type that has a loose, crisp head with a typical iceberg flavour and crisp bite. Best grown in the depths of winter.
Ready for harvest around 70+ days.
Low heat/bolt resistance.
